Our vision is to be a community of passionate worshippers who meet together to host the presence of God and minister to His heart through worship and intercession as modeled in Revelation 5:8. We hope to facilitate every expression of praise to God who is worthy of it all. As God provides, we will be open morning, noon, and night to cry out for our cities as watchmen on the walls who take no rest for themselves. We want to be those who partner with what the Spirit of God is releasing in both outpourings and judgments in these last days. We want to be instrumental in agreeing with God and His end-time plan for the earth and the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. (Luke 18:7-8 and Revelation 8:1-5)
In February 2020, Cory was praying about the prayer room and the Lord gave him a vision. He saw an industrial building that he thought was in downtown Longview, TX. In the center of the room, in a circle, were night and day singers, musicians, and intercessors ministering to the Lord. Surrounding them on all sides were rugs with a diversity of colors, patterns, shapes, and sizes. There were different sections of worshippers including dancers, those with banners, prophetic painters, some doing sign language, and potters. There was a red carpet that stretched from the entrance of the door to the center of the circle.
We interpreted it as the glory of God being surrounded by singers, musicians, intercessors, and worshippers similar to heaven in Revelation 4 and the tabernacle of David in 1 Chronicles 16. The rugs represented the diversity of worshippers and different expressions of worship. The red carpet had been rolled out for Jesus, our guest of honor, and was also symbolic of the prayer and worship movement ushering in our soon coming King!
The Bible- We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, that it was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that it is without error and that it has supreme authority in the matters of faith and conduct in the lives of believers. II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21, Proverbs 30:5-6, Romans 16:25-26
The Trinity- We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in the three persons of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe these three persons are divinely equal and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. I John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 3:7-11
Jesus Christ- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, and that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary, and that He possessed two complete, perfect natures of God and man, joined together in one Person. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life on this earth and died a suffering death as He was crucified on the cross. We believe that He was buried in a borrowed tomb and descended to Hades and took back the keys of death and the grave. We believe He then rose on the third day to cleanse the sins of all mankind who believe in Him for eternity. We believe in the miracles and teachings of Jesus. We believe in His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father. We believe in His second coming and His personal return to this earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years. John 1:1,14, John 20:28, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18,23-25, Luke 1:27-35, I Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, Philippians 2:5-6, I Timothy 2:5, I Thessalonians 4:15-17, Matthew 24:27-30, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 1:18, Revelation 19:11-14, Revelation 20:1-6
Holy Spirit- We believe in the Holy Spirit, who was sent into the world as a comforter and guide to believers. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the believer is identified as God’s own and empowered to live a holy life. We believe that the Holy Spirit endues believers with power to be witnesses. We believe that the Holy Spirit distributes His gifts to believers for the building up of the saints and for the sharing of the gospel. Joel 2:28-29, John 14:16-17, Matthew 3:11, Mark 16:17, I Thessalonians 5:23, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:5, Romans 1:11; 12:4-8, I Corinthians 12:1-31; 14:1-40, Hebrews 2:4
Fall of Man- We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is our separation from God. We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are guilty sinners in thought, word and deed. Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12-19
Salvation- We believe that those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior receive forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life, and are regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation from judgment, forgiveness of sin, and eternal life are free gifts of God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, and cannot be earned, deserved, inherited or purchased. We believe the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ the Son. John 3:3, Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, 3:8, Titus 3:5-7, Romans 8:16, Romans 10:9-15, Hebrews 9:22, Mark 16:16, John 14:6
Water Baptism- We believe that water baptism is a declaration of repentance and an outward sign of the death, burial and resurrection of the new birth that has occurred spiritually. Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4
The Church- We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit with a divine purpose to glorify God, to evangelize the lost and to make disciples. We believe that each member of the Church, from clergy to lay people, is important and has been gifted by God so that when each part is working properly, the entire Body might grow to maturity in unselfish love. Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; 4:16, Hebrews 12:23, John 17:11, I Peter 4:10
Holy Living- We believe that believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit and are to live holy lives that are worthy of our calling, as the Holy Spirit enables us. I Corinthians 6:19, II Peter 1:32; 3:11, Ephesians 4:1
The Blessed Hope- We believe in the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord. We believe that Jesus is coming soon! We are looking forward to that day and waiting eagerly for His coming. I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, I Corinthians 15:51-52, II Peter 3:12-13
